caliban335
I recently purchased a 2006 Les Paul Junior '57 Reissue and would like to understand what electronics are installed in it. The potentiometers are both marked "ALPHA" and "6J2". A round orange cap is marked "503". At some point I will probably replace the input jack and, if it would make an appreciable difference in tone, replace the pots and cap at that time. The previous owner told me the P100 was replaced with a Gibson P-90. I'll check that out on the next string change. This is a really nice guitar. The build quality is excellent and the neck feels great. This will be cross posted at the EpiWiki Forum.
Guest icantbuyafender
ugh. Why did he swap the p100???? Those pots and caps are basic stuff. Nothing to write home about. That P90 was probably a "downgrade" from the P100. Thats just my 2 cents though.
