indysmith Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 My Riv - the new ones currently on sale discussed here - is an absolute gem plays and sounds great. Just a couple of things - where the strap has rubbed the bottom edge of the guitar I have some wear already and it isn't good - I've had to apply some tape where the strap meets the body to stop any further wear - not good after just a couple of gigs. Secondly I get a fair bit of high pitched feedback - not microphonic - but definitely higher pitched than that of my dot which has regular humbucker pups.
