I think I will be having a bid or two for this as it will be easily fixed, shipping might be a bit costly but if the price is right then why not?

It never ceases to amaze me what people want for their guitars. Here are a few Casinos for sale in the UK and vastly different prices.

 

Surely the differences are explained by the fact that they're all very different guitars and not really comparable?

 

The first one is only a Casino in name. It's an EA-255 and is a cheaply-made bolt-on neck model with humbuckers. They're not that highly thought of.

 

The second one is a japanese "Matsumoko" model and should be top-notch in terms of quality. Not cheap but they are quite rare and one sold a few weeks ago around £100 less so that seems about right.

 

The third one is a standard, recent Casino. Too expensive but he's justifying it because of the hard case.

 

The fourth one is that price because it's been signed by Weller and some bloke who makes expensive trousers. It's been around for a while. Stupid idea, stupid price.

 

The last one is an original '66 model, hence the price. It's well used but I love that faded "teaburst". Given that I was born in '66 (on the day Revolver was released) that's the one I'd have loved!
