deeij
I have just bought a nikki sixx blackbird...sweet..... can anyone tell me what Generic or any brand gig bag would fit the Nikki Sixx?
BKitten
The Thunderbird bass (which the Blackbird is a version of) is the longest mass-production bass currently available, that I'm aware of. Therefore you've got no chance of fitting it into a standard gig bag, unless you're happy to have the headstock poking out (which kind of defeats part of the purpose of having the bag). If you google "thunderbird soft case" you will find a ton of suppliers who make the right shape gig bag. I'd seriously consider the hard case instead. The official Epi hard case for the Thunderbird/Blackbird is teh sexxx, I have one and it's brilliant. Sure, it's big enough to rival the Monolith from 2001 but it'll store your bass and a whole bunch of extra stuff nicely, and with a bass such as that with the weird shape the more protection you can give it, the better.
