Oh, man. I have a '96 Sorrento on its way to me or else I'd be grabbing one of these:

just saw 2 Howard Roberts models on EBay today, both in really clean condition. One is wine red and the other look to be a slightly faded dark blue.

Please - someone grab these now, before I get weak and give in to my GAS.

Did you just snag the Orange Sorrento that ended on e-bay over the weekend?

You will love it. They are great guitars. Mine sounds different than my Casino, even though they are roughly the same.

No - I got one in mauve metallic - kind of a weird rosy color - that ended back in April. Still hasn't arrived - apparently seller ran into some personal issues.

Glad to hear you say that Casino and Sorrento have different characters - that's what i was hoping.

I was just eyeballing that Howard Roberts again.

I found one at Guitar Center in Boston last summer that had just come in and was going to be marked at $350.They wouldn't sell it yet - I had to come back in 3 days or something. When I came back, it was gone. I think someone ho worked there must have spotted it and realized what a deal it was. Played and sounded great.

Dang!

Finding a HR local would be great, especially at that price.

I have a soft spot for Korean Epis from the 90s.

So far not a bad one in my bunch.

You will love your Sorrento.

I am taking a year off of buying guitars (so far), and decided to spend the money upgrading each of my babys.

Just had new electronics and setups done to the Casino and Sorrento.

What a difference good pots make.

I also have 11's on the Sorrento. Nice feel and sound.

The pickups are good and sound great through my Fender Blues Junior.
