I know things have to be kept in perspective -- people lost their lives and lost all their possessions -- but I'd like to think that museums that stockpile this kind of stuff would have storage that would be safe from flooding or other predictable calamities. TommyK Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 I hope so. Although the locals said that while not a 'flash flood', they had very little warning. One of the down town guitar shops, it is said, had a chance to move their inventory to a higher floor. Gibson is saying that while they did loose some inventory it was not total destruction.
