Itsooz Posted July 4, 2010 Share Posted July 4, 2010 Hi I've recently broken one of the potentiometers in Epiphone LP Black Beauty and I'm thinking of changing them anyway, but for the purpose of comparison could anyone please tell me what kind of pots are originally used in this guitar? 500k? 250k? And what do you think of using a 500k for volume and 1Meg for tone on its Alnico Hot Humbucker (bridge)? Or Vice Versa? Thanks in advance. All help is appreciated. Though I'm still quite curious if anyone on this forum has tried that 500k volume/1Meg tone option in the bridge position in any mahogany body guitar?
