mrtrew
Well I was still tinkering with the ground wire from switch to jack not being to sure if this was it. but when I got the pots going to jack I got noise. When I got noise (bad noise humm and buzz) It was a short step getting to the fact the jack/switch wiring WAS the wrong way round. Seems pretty clean sound with harness out of the body. Lets get it inside see what happens. I was getting worried for a second there, makes the success taste sweeter! woo hoo!!!!!!
bynapkinart
mrtrew, i had that same issue when i rewired my Casino...took me a lot longer, though my stupid sense of pride prevented me from seeking help. got it working eventually though! btw, nice job on the harness, it looks like you did a good clean job! what caps have you got in there? mrtrew
Didn't look quite so clean after attempting to get it in the guitar 8 or 9 times. Damn caps snapped had to resolder the things together! They are NOS PIO Caps Paper in oil Capacitors similar to a bumblebee apparently, without the cost. They work fine though.
