I'm looking for a digital camcorder that can also be used as a webcam with a usb connection to hook up to a laptop for web conferencing. I need this for use in a large room so that I can live stream into a web conference. I would also use my PA audio out to the camera for recording. All audio runs through my mixer. I have separate video mixing equipment that allows me to send from up to 4 sources (laptops, dvd's etc) to 4 outputs (digital projectors, lcd monitors etc.) so that I can have multiple projections at the same venue. The key to the camera is to be able to live stream through the laptop via usb (not firewire)and also be able to record on the camera.
