kingcongregation
can i put a bridge pickup in the middle position? i have 3 humbuckers on my sg but the middle doesn't make much of a diference from the bridge (which sounds great) and the neck is awesome too so i wanna change out the middle i think.. thought about the dirty fingers but i've read they're for bridge only.. also, my pickup selections are currently bridge, bridge/middle, and neck. i would like to add a switch so i can also select middle only, bridge/neck or all three. and can i add another switch for series/parallel/out of phase capabilities or does that only apply to each pickup itself internally? basically i'm thinking two switches.. Versatile
In essence you can do whatever you like regarding pickup configuration and switching A good guitar technician could help.....
Kimbabig
Well Chris Poland... uses a neck pickup in the bridge position. So whatever works, experimenting is fun.
DiamondJig
as said before you can do whatever you want, they do sell a 5 postion rotary switch to replace the 3 way and then you have the 4 knobs that can be changed out to push/pull so you can d a lot of things. I would first draw them up on paper check the seymour duncan site for wiring you can combine them too http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/
