cmancuc Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 I own a 2008 Epiphone Masterbuilt AJ-500re. I wish it was one of the early versions of this guitar, which had the simple L.R. Baggs Element System. While I might just go ahead replace this darn Shadow product with that, I'm interested in knowing what other folks have used in place of it in this guitar, or any other Masterbuilt. strumbert Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 I installed K&K Pure western Minny's in both my DR & AJ500. I was wondering about the esonic. Been thinking about the new DR500ce. If it ever becomes a problem again, I'm just going to replace it with the L.R. Baggs Anthem system. I would just go with the Element, but since the wood is already fitted with the onboard tuner/preamp, it makes sense to go with the Anthem.
