It doesn't sound anything like a D28 or a Hummingbird, but... <grin> it worked fine for an hour's worth of concert with a batch of elementary school kids a month ago... I've a hunch you're likely better off with strings built for an electric, though. Any acoustic string will kinda work anyway on an electric.
