cals custom Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Just bought a 1950's Gibson GA-40 les paul amp and it needs the upholstery for it and also the gibson logo. Does anyone have any contacts or info for this,It would be a great help for this resto.Cool old amp sounds good has slight cracking noise if anyone knows anything about these I could use the help thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pippy Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Hi and welcome to the forum. There is a photograph, reproduced in black and white, of a 1952 Gibson 'GA-40 Les Paul' amp in a book I have. There is a similar snap of a 1957 'GA-40 Les Paul' amp. In this case there is a very brief product description to accompany the illustration. I very much doubt they will be of much use to you but I'll scan them in as soon as I can and post them here - just in case they are any use at all to anyone!... EDIT : here they are.
