Gibson traditionally sets up its 2-pickup guitars and bases with four controls, a separate Tone and Volume pot for each pickup (as well as a selector switch, of course). Other manufacturers use different configurations, such as a "blend" pot, with a single volume control. Do the characteristics of Gibson's pickups require the use of two volume pots, or will the blend/volume configuration work just as well? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
