imb Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 Just purchaed my first Les Paul - standard with a custom shop finish,serial number CS88270 it has a 'sparkle finish'- quite different, does anyone know the likely date it was born. Tim Plains Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 Custom Shop serial numbers don't work like Gibson USA serial numbers. You can't determine what day the guitar way made.
