ford Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 Hey... I just acquired a 1964 SG. I'm pretty sure it "was" a SG jr with one soap-bar pickup. Someone in the 80's tried to modify it but putting 2 cheap humbuckers in it. I tossed those pickups and replaced them with S Duncan 59s and had the intonation (sp?) fixed. It now plays and sounds awesome. So... basically the neck and body are the only original parts and the neck is in great condition. Any thoughts to what I could sell this guitar for? B Chas Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 I have a 68 MM, SG-like double cut away. Super comfortable. I also replaced the pick ups with Seymore Duncans.
