porridge Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hello Gibson experts! My Dad has a Gibson guitar which we are trying to identify but with little success. The information we have about the guitar is: It looks like a J-45 type Gibson. On the back of the tuning head there is stamped: Gibson Guitar, Made in the US, 1367 The front of the tuning head has white silkscreen handwriting script which says: Gibson made 1928 - 43. Inside the sound hole there is a small white rectangular label saying: MADE IN US by GIBSON INC KALAMAZOO. MICH. There is no serial number or model name on this label.
