gibbs69
I have (I think) a 1970 Gibson ES335 TDC. I am trying to determine it's value. Not sure if I want to sell it but if I do I want to make sure I don;t get ripped off. It is in excellent shape but I can post photos too if necessary. Brown/yellow sunburst. Wally Dow
that is not an ES335TDC ... the C means Cherry finish. What you have is an ES335TD
retrorod
On some models, I believe the 'C' stands for cutaway..... .The 335 ain't one of them though.
BobB
Bluebook Publications has a Bluebook of Electric Guitars which would be a great resouce for determining current market value. Vintage dealers like www.gruhn.com or www.mandoweb.com have appraisal services which can provide written documentation of value. The written appraisal can prove helpful when insuring or trying to sell an instrument.
