bonzoboy Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 49 years ago today,one-time Beatle Stu Sutcliffe died of a massive brain embollism.He had left The beatles partially because of the frequent massive headaches but mainly to live with his German girlfriend Astrid-who had also inspired the famous haircuts,of which Stu had the first. Also on this day in 1970 the official announcement that The Beatles had broken up was made.I'll never forget the shock and dismay I felt on that day it was a collosal loss for me and many millions of others.
