Versatile Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 There is generally a Northern Irish and a Southern Irish accent IMO a woman with a Southern Irish accent is quite captivating to listen to The Northern Irish accent is interesting for different reasons...more feisty and with a more staccato rhythm...still captivating.... Foreign Accent Syndrome has been featured in the news twice in the last few months Both women, one with a new Oriental accent and one with a new Polish/East European accent Potentially awkward for the sufferer and an inconvenience Perhaps short-term money to be made from 'freak factor' in the tabloid press Some 'stroke' or surgery deficiencys can be 'relearned'....
