johnbobs
Hi guys. Hope you're good. I need to replace a scratchplate on my '68 LG-0. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place online or otherwise to get hold of one.........
ne14t?
I dont know if anyone that retails pick guards online for the older acoustic guitars, your best bet aside from taking it to a luthier would be to hit up a website like stewmac or allparts and grab a piece of plastic, faux turtle shell, abalone, mother of pearl or whatever you want for a pick guard and make one yourself, I believe they are just glued on and I know plastic and faux turtle shell can be cut with scissors, but needs to be warmed up, all of it could be cut with a dremmel and a cut off wheel, hope this helps.
