Chambered, but I'm biased. Buy the one the "speaks to you", or feels right, or the one you can't take your eyes off of. The amount of air on the inside is a secondary issue. In my case, the chambered reissue historics from the Custom shop just have that "vibe".

I agree with Dan here on this issue..chambered Les Pauls do sound better...more so with clean, airy chords than the weight relieved ones..however, it all comes down to what you like more & whether it suits your style of music..
