eor Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 i'll bet this has been covered a million times, but searching for "tuners", "pots" and "replace" brought back over 200 threads about all kinds of stuff. i'm trying to learn me how to do all this soldering and modding business and save on all the tech fees, so i figured i'd start with the special before working my way up to the elitists. so i'm pawing through guitar fetish and i'd like to know which pots/switch i should buy. short shaft? i thought about the complete lp kit, but it is a much thinner body. and which tuners are direct drop in replacements, if any? i'd prefer not to ream out the holes and such, but if i have to, then fine. and if anyone should happen to know, are their bridges and tailpieces drop ins as well, or do they require modification?
