ozzymbs
Hey guys, hope all is well and rockin for everyone. I'm thinking of changing the p90's in my '56 GT for some Seymour Duncan APH-2s Slash humbucker set and I was hoping to get some input from you guys. I don't post or comment alot on these forums but I read them all the time and I really respect alot of your opinions. I am a HUGE Slash fan and I love his tone on the " APPETITE" album, which is what these pups are supposed to emulate. These are the same pups that are in his Epi. and Gibson signature model. So what do you think...good call or not? Thanks in advance for your opinions and I hope you all have a blessed day.
Supersonic
The Slash pups won't fit in the '56 GT without modification. They are not the same size as P-90s.

Well, I guess I can scratch that idea then 'cuz I don't wanna be cutting on my GT. Thanks,Supersonic for your input. What do you think about putting 498/490's in an Epi. SG400?
