Epiphone G-310 tuners replacement

Hey guys, sorry if i'm posting this here, but there's nothing like "Epiphone Gear" anyway.

I just got my Epiphone Emily The Strange SG (G-310) and I'm working on some mods for it, but the first thing I would like to change are the die cast tuners!

So I was wondering which one of the Grover Rotomatics could I just use to replace the original ones.

One difference with my Epi Ultra II's tuners, is the angle of the screw next to the gear cover.

On my Ultra II it looks like this:

But in the G-310, the screw is in a 45 degrees angle:

So, I was thinking that MAYBE, these could fit in the G-310:

Any idea if it's possible? Or do I HAVE to take it to someone to replace my tuners (drilling holes and stuff).

Or anyone knows the measures of the tuners of the G-310?

Thanks a lot and hope to hear from you, wise ppl, soon.

It seems your on the right track with the tuners you're looking at, but if your not familiar with guitar repair I suggest you take it to someone who does. It may cost a little bit but it's better than any unecassary damage to your guitar and they'll be able to guide to the right product for what you want to do as far as upgrades go.

Finally I decided to go for these ones:

And yeah, I will take it to a luthier to put the new tuners (and nut), just in case... Somebody told me, most likely my guitar has 8mm, so I have to ream it to 10mm, so yeah... I better pay someone to do it properly :D Thanks

Any recommended Luthier in NY?

Finally I know it. It has 10mm holes and you need the little screw to be in 45 degrees.

This is the one I put on my Epi:

Fits perfectly and it's SO EASY to install :D and 16:1 precision, is good enough.

So... Closed Case!
