dubstar Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 due to an oversight on my part, my EJ300S with bone nut by scott macdonald and bone saddle by bob colosi (on the way) has 5 bone pins and 1 tusq or something like it...not that I think it will make a huge difference, but any particular string I should use the tusq pin with? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RIX Posted October 22, 2011 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I'm surprised no one has answered you, but I think your best bet would be to put the odd pin on the 6th string. That is if it even makes a difference, but I would think it less noticeable there. You can always try it like that for awhile and then move to the first string to see if you can hear a difference.
