Soapbar date stamp help

Hi I got this soapbar from my brother to sell on eBay He remembers it came from a 1960s Melody Maker. The pickup was removed in 1975 so We dont know if it was original to the guitar. But whats baffeling is the numbers stamped on the back. The numbers look like 14X 30 or 36 Can anyone help date it and guess at its value?

Sorry about the blurry picture (digital cameras dont focus very well) The DC ohms are 8.10. Is this a bridge or a neck Pickup?

Also where would one obtain some genuine period ground braiding?

Thanks for your help

Yes I thought so. My brother said there was a plastic Soapbar cover for this Pickup It was black and had a top and bottom case with surface mounting ears to it. It did not have metal dog ear mountings. Im thinking this could be an early Soapbar Knockoff. Like a Dimarzzio The Date stamp 14 x 30 could mean 1974 week 30. Just a guess but the similarity is striking and DC reading is so similar to Gibson. And the sound is sooo similar. Bright and whaling. I just dont Know.

Anny way blind folded you could not tell the difference. So its a mystery.
