Tablar Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Well, pretty simple question. I have an ES-345 with a Varitone, and a Blueshawk with a Varitone. It seems to suit the Blueshawk much more than on ES-345. Not all of the Varitone tonal variations on either guitar are, to my ears, musically useful. Far from it, in fact! But some are really really good. Thinking of customizing a guitar, and would like to put a Varitone in it, but the closest thing that I can find is a Pentatone on eBay.
