Which PUP's are on my guitar?

Hello!

I have a 1993 Black Gibson Custom, sn/ 3 0420

I'd like to ask 3 questions:

1) Which kind of pickups are on this guitar ???

- On the back of the pups i can read "Patent Applied For"...

Is this the same of a Classic '57 ?

2) How can I read the serial number? (I tried Gibson instructions on their website but I'm not sure...)

3) I have 2 other pups...Seymour Duncan Custom and Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates...

At this moment I have the original pu on the bridge position and the Pearly Gates on the neck position...

The difference is too much to my ears...the Pearly Gates is full of bass tones and the Gibson is full of mid-highs...

If I EQ the sound on the amplifier for one pu the result will be totally unbalanced for the other one...

any suggest?

Thank You Very Much !!! :)

The pickups must be 57 classics.

Regarding the serial number: especially in the 90s they are a bit different from what they are later on: following pictures will help !

* Photos of the instrument - full front, full back, as well as close ups of the front and back of the headstock, with the serial number clearly visible. Also of any inside label that the instrument may have.

Regarding the seymour duncans: maybe another member has a good tip.
