Today I have a Les paul VOS 58 Plaintop Tobacco burst with a 60's neck. But I also have a Gibson Les paul Custom 1979 Ebony on its way to me, it weighs about 11.1 lbs. I can only own one of these. Wich one shall I keep, guess you think its a stupid question, but is there really any difference between these guitar, talking bout quality, the build of them, long or short tenon neck etc. The tone should be nice on the Custom or im I wrong? Its almost 33 years old. Is there anything special I shall think on? Sorry, I know its alot of question but im pretty noobish on this.
