DCBirdMan Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 How different would a 1950s original CF-100E sound from a 1990's reissue, assuming all else (strings, amp) were the same. Any idea how many reissues were made? While we are on that topic (sort of) how much of a difference in electric, amplified sound will there be with one of those P-90 flatops (CF 100E or J 160e) using bronze rather than nickel wound strings.
