Gibson Guitar Give Away Contests

I actually do have a facebook page and an email account. I visit each one about every six months or so whether I think I should or not.

I think there are other ways than Facebook to have one's vids on line.

My major concern has to do with the apparent ease with which it's hacked.

One of my concerns, too, is that technically your material on Facebook may or may not remain your legal "property" in a number of ways. This is one of the examples of how copyright law, IMHO, is about to start having some interesting cases when I figure this is almost inevitable to blow up.

That said.... Yeah, I think if you're playing for money, you probably need some sort of web page to show your stuff and more, you need to keep it up more than once a year as I've seen some organizations and performers do. As a journalist, the three-year-old web site pretty much damages my opinion of the organization/performer.

To put it more bluntly, I'm no Luddite, and I rather easily embrace technology when I see it's use as a benefit to me. But I also see how current technology is being used, and it increases the natural cynicism of my maturity.
