bloozeguy
Got me a beater, practice, spare-tire, take-it-out-when-the-mandolin-player-complains-the-Dobro's-too-loud used Great Divide parlor guitar, model SBOC-17-G (discontinued). Very good to excellent condition. Solid cedar top, hog-lam back and sides. $150 out-the-door, with a good gig bag (WOOHOO!). Been seeing these used about $189. In shop, strung w/silk 'n' steels, will replace w/ D'Addario Custom Light bronze-phos (.11-.52. I use same brand lights on my other boxes). I'll go to extra-light if this puts too much strain on anything (inc. my fingertips, but I don't think that'll happen). Was a little cannon in the store even with the s'n's's; slide sounded real nice on it, too. Bright and punchy. Should roar with bronze on 'er.
