drichard2002 Posted September 21, 2012 Share Posted September 21, 2012 I just purchased a 1940's era arch top factory electric left hand gibson. the factory work order stamp begins with a Z followed by 4 numbers then there is a space I think two other numbers faded. Does the Z indicate the date it was built?? if so what year? The machines have been changed other than that its completly original.
