CT Dude
Hello all...I'm on a quest to locate and hopefully purchase (if it's priced fairly) an Epiphone metal headstock badge like the attachment. I have visited Google many times but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of a good solid source for one of these badges please let me know. I'm also still searching for a source or sources who have any 1940's - 1960's retro style amp cabinets I can restore and retro-fit the guts of a tube amp I recently picked up. It's a project amp and I just like the look of the older amp cabinet styling. Many thanks! CT Dude
ne_buddy
Just a bump... I'd like to know where to get one too. Funny: just took that badge off my Casino to keep the badge in mint condition and to keep it from rattling when I strum certain chords!
gearhead
Good luck on that one. I may be wrong, but I don't believe anyone makes any replicas. You'll probably have to find a guitar that's broken and being parted out.
Sada Yairi
Depends how much you want to spend, and whether "almost exactly the same" is good enough for you. The Epi Wildkat has the 'bikini badge' as it's often called. I believe the whole guitar only costs $300 in the US (which almost makes me cry). Can I have the left over geet when you take the badge??? ;)
