Stevis Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Hi Folks, I am considering the purchase of one of the Gibson Explorer Traditional Pros that the company produced for Guitar Center. The guitar has a feature of push/pull volume knobs on it: http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Explorer/Gibson-USA/Explorer-Traditional-Pro/Specs.aspx Can someone explain to me how these affect the humbucking pickups? I was plunking around on one today and my novice ears could not really tell what this feature does. I thought maybe that this might turn one of the coils on/off but wasn't sure. Any insights would be greatly appreciated, as there really isn't anything on the Gibson site that explains this (and it is hit/miss getting answers at GC).
