Davelodge Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 I have just bought an Epiphone cortez FT45 dating from 1965/66 and i am hoping to find out who was the first owner of the guitar, is there any way that i can find the history of this guitar? The Epiphone Cortez model was built at the Gibson Kalamazoo factory from 1958-1970. Not much chance to track down original owner. If you bought it from a private party, check with them to see if they can provide contact information for the person they purchased it from.
