iloveguitars79 Posted November 16, 2012 Share Posted November 16, 2012 Today I came across a pre-stamped, pre - 1st digit/5th digit serial number Les Paul Custom Silverburst in a pawn shop. From what I know stamping and 1st digit/5th digit serialization started in 1977. AND the silverburst finish was introduced in 78... Is it an old refin or what? It looks like the original finish!??
