1930s archtop - need help ID'ing

My dad said he bought this archtop acoustic in 1946. I know he replaced the old pickup that was on it, and a pawn shop owner said that it probably originally did not include a pickup. I have included two pics, but not shown is "-23" or "L23" handwritten in red ink in small characters, inside the treble-side F-hole.

Any help in identifying this guitar and determining what it might be worth today. I have 7 more pics I was unable to post because of the size.

Thanks in advance,
