jej2
Bought this guitar this past fall from luthier. I liked the idea of having this acoustic archtop from the same era as my J-50. The FON is 5627 31. Seen clearly and easily through one of the f-holes. Except for new tuner buttons and possible overspray of back........it all sure seems original and well cared for. The head stock is tapered........so leads me to believe possible 1950. Ideas.....or thoughts..... jejpirate77

jej2
Upper 5000 range... probably 1951. Appears to be all mahogany. Would that have been predominant in 50-51...?

In '52, they went to a spruce top, maple back, mahogany sides (according to Gruhn's guide).
