Split Toe Joe Posted February 16, 2013 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Good Day Folks, I need help indentifying a short scale bass I had back in my 20s...Back then I wasn't as savvy keeping records as I am today. I bought an Epiphone short scale bass from a friend in the early 80's for a mere $100.00. This was my first ever bass guitar. Since then I had sold the bass. My friend has passed on and I have looked and searched websites as well as music stores, pawn shops, craig's list, etc... With no success. I would like to one day purchase one just like this. The large pickgaurd & Epiphone E is something that I haven't seen on anything I have looked at. Unfortunately when I show the picture to salespeople at guitar shops around my area, they give me the confused dog tilt head look. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks in advance.
