skb
I have an Epi Sheraton Elitist advertised locally on CL, and the other night noticed that one of the gold tophat (tone control) knobs has some hairline cracks in it. Since the Elitists were made with Gibson electronics, can it be assumed that ordering a set of Gibson knobs from GC or wherever will fit the pot posts just fine? Many thanks in advance. Father O'Blivion
I replaced all the knobs on my Korean G-400 with Gibson brand knobs and they fit perfectly so you shouldn't have any problem.

The electronics on an Elitist that are Gibson are the pickups. The pots are asian-sourced and metric sized (coarse knurl). Red
