Dot Studio Worn Natural -- is it maple or mahogany?

Back in the 1940's Epiphone had a guitar made with Primavera Mahogany - the blond version of the Spartan. Here are a few examples showing a variety of grain patterns;

The grain is mahogany like. The figure is similar to maple but maple doesn't have the little grain lines.
