Magchiel
Since 2001 I own a Epiphone Les Paul, with Gibson on the headstack, where usually the type of model shows. There is nowhere else on the guitar that I can find any clue about its model, and I know too little about guitars to conclude it from the way it is built. Can anyone help me? I attached some pictures of it, and I already found out it is a '89 South Korean guitar from the serial number (and I thought I bought a new guitar..) Thanx! tweed2
Magchiel, welcome to the forum. Knowing what the serial number is (you can leave off the last 4 numbers if you are concerned about giving out too much information) should help us help you, but "the Dater" isn't always accurate. There are a few here that can tell by the few subtle visual differences, like Alfonso has. Stand by, stick around and join in. Oh, and here's your forum warming-present. +
Magchiel
Hi, Thanx for your answers. The serial number is 89117564, which would mean fabrication in november 1989 according to the site. Magchiel
