Atwater Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 I've got a 2011 SG special reissue VOS and a 2013 SG standard reissue VOS. Both custom shop. They are both listed as having the 60's neck in the specs, though the SG special has a thicker neck, while the standard in very thin. I don't know if that is something the custom shop is doing on purpose or if that is just the way the necks were finished on that particular day. It definitely fits the character of each guitar though. Neither of them are close to my 2001 SG standard, which is in baseball bat territory up at the 12th fret.
