Next, and probably last, the pups will get a set of nickel covers. Hope you all enjoy. I must say that I probably wouldn't have went for this polishing if it weren't for the neck being polished so much from playwear; I could see the sparkle of the metal-flake style paint and that was motivation enough. I tried, albeit poorly, to capture that in the oblong close-up of the body. I would suggest to Gibson they do a run of these in full gloss- but apparently they already have; the 'Jeff Tweedy' model. Thanks for putting up with my over-enthusiasm and the other newbie stuff. You all have been a help and encouragement! I'll post another one or two when the covers are on...it will be a week or two... Going back over that first post, I had written that I "might" buff it out but I was fearful. I'm glad I overcame the fear!
