I have a Les Paul Axcess, the original 498T does have the appropriate spacing, so at least 498T is a trembucker.

at least the custom shop is making the guitar correct<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">I want to take that pickup out. Don't like it I would like to put in the Slash alnico II pro, but I also refused to give up the coil split option so I need a 4 conductor wire<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">such as a burstbucker 3. But I want the F spacing.

I have a busrtbucker 3 in now it now has noticeably less richness in high e string harmonics.

it needs the f spacing<br style="background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">I really like burstbucker 3 so I would like to put a F spaced burstbucker 3 (or 2 would be okay).<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">but it appears there are none available Gibson doesn't make any F spaced humbucker other than the 498T<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);"><br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252);">I do see that the Floyd Rose on the Trad Pro has 57s but in pictures you can clearly see the low E and the high the are not even close to the magnetic pole pieces

So regular Les Pauls do it wrong. pic below.

If you are certain you want a replacement pickup, and it sounds as though you are, are there any pickup specialists in your area?

They should be able to adapt an existing PU or if needs be make a new one to your specs.

Have you tried pre-amps or compressors to get the sound you want?
