Robin B.
Ok this is what I have a black beauty with a impressed serial number 990468 and a transfer sticker on the back of headstock with made in the USA on a gold sticker under the laminate. The pick ups have P.A.F. stamped on them. Anyone have any idea when this great sounding beauty was built. She is the best sounding of all my Gibson's and I have 4 others and an Explorer and a Firebird.

HEADKNOCKER
I'd think 96 as the 1st & 5th #s BUT?? Most have more #s than that?? Early 70s?? Look thru some of the links given.. WHAT A SERIAL NUMBER CAN AND CAN'T TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR GIBSON
