L5Larry Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 I believe the humbuckers in the L6-S were designed and built by Bill Lawrence. You may want to try his website. Generally accepted standard wire color code would mean white-common (ground), black-hot one coil, red-hot the other coil. Strap red and black together and you have a humbucker.
