I ordered my Plus Top through Guitar Center last December and at that time the Plus Top version was available only at their stores. Your pictures seem to indicate that you do have a flamed maple top which is the most obvious difference between the regular Special II and the Plus Top (Limited Edition). I'm not sure why you don't have a "Custom Shop" logo silkscreened on the back of the headstock. Notice there is no "Special" on the head, just the "Epiphone" logo and "Gibson" on the truss rod cover. You have a beautiful Epiphone guitar there. Check this out "plain Jane" http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Special-II-Plus-Top-Limited-Edition-Electric-Guitar-105946180-i1540832.gc I really like the blue one.
